Lewannick Garden Club

The Garden Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Lewannick Village Hall. During spring and summer months weekend trips to gardens and nurseries may replace the regular meetings.

The club is run in a friendly and informal atmosphere and welcomes all who have an interest in horticulture. There is no membership fee, just a donation of £1 on the door for each meeting. Regular meetings usually feature a speaker, a raffle, free tea/coffee and biscuits and plenty of time to chat and ask questions.

The Garden Club holds a regular Spring Flower Show featuring exibits from members and the general public covering spring bulbs, shrubs and houseplants, plus floral arrangements and classes for children. There are also stalls selling unusual plants, shrubs, trees and herbaceous plant plus bedding plants and vegetables.

This year's show will be held on Saturday 9th April at 2pm. Schedules for entries will be available in early March from Lewannick Post Office and stores and from Tim Ellis, Ellis Nurseries, Medrow, Polyphant, or downloadable from this web page.
